Army 10-Miler Team

Hallows was a member of the Fort Benning 10-Miler teams prior to 2005. Since then he has participated with other installations’ 10-Miler teams but is now back at Benning. He is the captain this year and ran the qualifier in 58 minutes, 42 seconds. Wilson was a member of the Fort Benning 10-Miler team in 2005 and “has been instrumental in getting more people to run qualifiers. Wilson is best at long distance races,” said Smith. Wilson runs many 50-mile races throughout the year and qualified with a time of 62.80. Robinson is running for the first time on the Fort Benning Army 10-Miler team. Jamin qualified with a time of 63.20, but he lost his shoes one mile into the qualifier and finished by running the final nine miles in just a little over 60 minutes with no shoes. Vonderharr is running for the first time on the team and qualified with a time of 63.2. Bihl is running for the first year on the Fort Benning Army 10-Miler Team and qualified with a time of 64.18. Elijah is running his first time on the team and qualified with a time of 64.01. Maj. Fred Eaton, ROTC, not pictured, is running for the first time on the Fort Benning team. Eaton qualified with a time of 63.23. Shannon Swords, MEDDAC, not pictured, was a member of the Army 10-Miler Team in 2006 and was also a member of the All-Army Team. Swords qualified with a time of 64.02.
