The annual Federal Employees Workshops, sponsored by the installations Equal Employment Opportunity Special Emphasis Program committee, is Aug. 14-15. The purpose for the annual training event is to provide employment-related information for civilian employees and supervisors of civilian personnel at this installation.
The workshops will serve as a forum to provide a unique opportunity to address professional and personal topics affecting civilian employment and proper civilian personnel management procedures at Fort Benning. The two-day training sessions will be held at different locations on the installation to maximize attendance and to provide information to a large cross section of workforce population.
On Aug. 14, all FEW sessions will be on Main Post in McGinnis-Wickam Halls Classroom E-106. The same topics will be discussed on Harmony Church Aug. 15 at Patton Hall, Building 5145, on Cavalry Road.
I strongly support the goals and objectives of the installations EEO Special Emphasis Program. I encourage all managers and supervisors to support this training event by attending and encouraging attendance at as many workshop sessions as the organizations mission allows.
Appropriated fun and non-appropriated fund civilian personnel who request attendance will not be charged leave.
