Your January security briefing

The next mandatory Security Education Training and Awareness training sessions for S2/security managers is 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Feb. 6-7 at the Lawson Army Airfield Operations conference room.

Unit IASOs are also invited to attend. S2/security managers requiring annual refresher Intelligence Oversight training are invited to attend that training portion of the SETA brief.

Outprocessing from Fort Benning? All personnel must now clear Security Division, DPTMS, prior to departing from post. Security Division is located at 6630 Ashley Avenue, Building 2892. Hours of operation are from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. each duty day.

Personnel retiring or ETSing are required to sign a termination briefing if they have had access to classified information.

A NATO debrief will be conducted for those having NATO secret access. Their Joint Personnel Adjudication System record will also be updated.

Holiday financial stress If you have over-extended your wallet or run into financial difficulty, do not hesitate to pursue financial assistance or counseling.

If you have eligibility for access to classified information and your financial matters are not taken care of, you could possibly lose that eligibility.

Consult with your S-2 and commander for assistance.
