Final Batman blockbuster coming to Fort Benning’s Wynnsong 10 theater
Carmike Cinemas kicks off its July military appreciation events with the premier of The Dark Knight Rises at Fort Benning’s Wynnsong 10 theater.
The much-anticipated premier of the Batman trilogy’s final installment is set to take place at midnight Thursday in the post theater. Leading up to the grand premier event will be an exclusive Batman Movie Marathon, which begins at 6 p.m. and starts off with the first two installments of the blockbuster Batman series, culminating with the midnight showing of this summer’s biggest movie event, The Dark Knight Rises. Tickets for the marathon are $25 with special savings using Benning Bucks. Additional information is available at www.carmike.com.
As part of Carmike Cinemas’ ongoing military appreciation program, Soldiers, Families, friends, government employees, contractors and retirees are being treated to substantial savings for tickets to The Dark Knight Rises or concession purchases at the Wynnsong 10 movie complex.
Benning Bucks will allow savings of $2 off the price of admission to any showing of The Dark Knight Rises or the Batman Movie Marathon and are good through the end of July. The promotion may also be used for $2 off any concession item during this military appreciation event.
Benning Bucks can be picked up in editions of The Bayonet, at the Wynnsong 10, locations across the post, Ranger Joe’s and several area radio station websites. Treating the military community to big savings on this movie blockbuster event of the summer is Carmike’s way of saying “thanks” to the troops and Families who give so much to others.
Premier night events will include radio stations broadcasting live, prize giveaways of items such as special Batman posters and other fun activities.
Theatergoers are invited to dress in their favorite costume for the Batman Movie Marathon and midnight showing of The Dark Knight Rises.
